Remember You
We didn't have a lot of time together, but in the short time we had, you made me feel things I never felt for anyone before. We didn't kiss, we didn't hug, we didn't even talk about anything important, and we barely knew anything about each other, but somehow I think I fell in love with you.
The way you looked at me said a lot more than anything we ever said. It might have been the same for you, I hope, but I'll never know. I just know the day in the park, and the few days that followed were very special. I'll always miss that, and remember it too.
When you asked me if it was inappropriate to ask if I had a boyfriend, I hope you understood why I had to shake my head yes. If only things could have been different. If only we could have at least had more time together. It's all too late now.
Maybe you were right when you said that if it wasn't for bad luck, you wouldn't have any luck at all, or maybe it's just the decisions you made...I don't know. I hope my heart doesn't hurt forever whenever I think of you, I suppose as time goes on it will get better, maybe.
